Due West Robotics empowers students through hands-on robotics education, fostering innovation and teamwork. Their mission is to inspire the next generation of engineers and problem solvers by providing resources and support for robotics programs.

We are living a real-life inspirational movie! Yesterday, our high school robotics team from the tiny town of Due West, SC (population 1,300) advanced to the FIRST Robotics World Championship. We have the incredible honor of competing alongside the top 600 teams in the world&mdash;but we leave in 2 weeks and need to raise $30,000 to get there. Our Goal: We want every team member who worked so hard for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go compete with the top teams from around the world. Your tax-deductible donation to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit will cover:<ul data-path-to-node="5" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The mandatory $5,750 team registration fee.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Travel, lodging, and food for the students and mentors.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Shipping our robot, tools, and heavy equipment.</li></ul>Why We Qualified:We advanced because we finished 2nd in the state AND won the prestigious FIRST Impact Award (the highest award given in FIRST robotics). We are recognized as a model rural STEM program, proving that youth from underserved areas can compete at the highest levels against well-funded teams from major cities.
