LXCL:Eco-School Network equips parents &amp; teachers to lead school communities towards sustainability.

Join us for a summer evening of family Bingo, prizes, good food, and family fun at the Ale &amp; Cider House in West Linn!&nbsp; Your ticket includes fun prizes like gift cards to local shops, a complimentary drink (beer, cider, wine, and nonalcoholic options) and plenty of snacks. We&rsquo;ll have space for kids to play and make new friends. A parent will supervise the kids area, giving grown-ups a rare chance to relax, enjoy a drink, and maybe even focus on their Bingo card. We will also have a board game swap, so grab one or a few slightly used family favorites that you are ready to trade for a new-to-you game to play this summer. Find Your Edge: A Beginner Climbing Adventure for Brave HumansTicket is for two days in a row: August 8, from 2 - 6pm and August 9, 2 - 8-pm&nbsp;Most people spend their lives avoiding the feeling of being scared. This experience is about discovering what happens when you lean toward it instead.&nbsp;This two-part climbing adventure is for curious humans ready to challenge themselves, trust the rope and one another, and experience the magic of doing something that feels impossible until the moment you realize you&rsquo;re actually doing it. Part one: takes place at Momentum Indoor Climbing in the Pearl District, where climbing enthusiast and ESN board member Evans Reed and a climbing instructor introduce guests to the fundamentals in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. Afterward, guests are invited to continue the adventure over happy hour while swapping stories and talking through plans for the big climb ahead.&nbsp;Then comes the real adventure: The next day, the group will head to French&rsquo;s Dome near Rhododendron, Oregon &mdash; a striking 160-foot monolith rising from the forest. With support of a professional outdoor climbing guide, guests will climb a beginner-friendly bolted route in several shorter pitches, with opportunities to rest and regroup.&nbsp;At the summit, we&rsquo;ll celebrate with a victory toast, and magnificent 360-degree views before rappelling back down the rock face &mdash; including a thrilling overhang that may leave you questioning your life choices in the best possible way. No climbing experience necessary, though participants should be in moderate to solid aerobic condition with at least some upper body and core strength.
