Join us for an unforgettable evening at Party with a Purpose &mdash; where great music, community spirit, and support for public education come together for one incredible cause. This exciting fundraiser benefiting the Education Foundation will feature live entertainment from Paul Cauthen at Dos Amigos, along with a live auction, local vendor booths, food, drinks, and more. Guests will enjoy a high-energy night filled with entertainment and opportunities to give back, all while helping provide innovative programs, classroom resources, and educational opportunities for students and teachers in our public schools. Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised directly supports public education and helps create brighter futures for local students. The Bookworms Literacy Program is designed to help increase literacy and foster a life-long love of reading. During the school year, students will read along to a story in class and then receive a copy of that book to take home to keep in an effort to promote at-home family reading. Through Bookworms, we foster a love of reading by providing developmentally appropriate books to more than 7,000 students a month in grades PreK – 2nd Grade during the months of November - February.&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">Average cost of a book is $2.50</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing:inherit;" style="box-sizing:inherit;">Cost to sponsor one school for one school year = $5,000</li></ul>
