Eisenhower Enrichments: Art Enrichment

Come and learn how to play one of the best table games since the 1970&#39;s! &nbsp;This table-top-role-playing-game(TTRPG) has taken the spotlight once again. &nbsp;But this time we can incorporate some technology to help us through our adventures. &nbsp;Learn how to build characters in the 5e version of Dungeons &amp; Dragons. &nbsp;Then take your character on a quest for treasure or to help save a town from a hideous mythical monster! &nbsp;The possibilities are endless because you control your character&#39;s actions within the boundaries of the campaign. In this enrichment, we will learn how to build characters, calculate actions using polyhedral dice, build our knowledge of mythology and enhance our storytelling skills. &nbsp;Adventure awaits! Eisenhower Enrichments-Dungeons and Dragons

Readers Theatre will help students build reading, public speaking, and teamwork skills in a fun, low-pressure way. Since students read from scripts, there&rsquo;s no need to memorize lines or use costumes, sets, or props. During meetings, students will practice speaking clearly, using tone and pacing, and getting comfortable performing. Readers Theatre is a great option for students of all skill levels and will be an exciting way for students to meet other peers who enjoy reading and acting!

IKE Enrichments- Study Skills and Learning Lab

Students work together to create and manage an investment portfolio of real world stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Each team is responsible for researchingand evaluating potential investments. Lego Masters is a hands-on club where students work in teams of 2 to take on creative LEGO building challenges inspired by LEGO Masters.&nbsp; Each week, students will design, build, problem-solve, and think outside the box using a variety of LEGO pieces. Eisenhower Enrichments: Strategy Squad

Students who enjoy mathematical challenges and advanced problem solving are invited to join the Math Competition Club. Meeting two Thursdays each month, club members compete in the Continental Math League (CML) and the Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS), solving challenging problems alongside students from across the country.&nbsp; Through these nationally recognized competitions, students strengthen their critical thinking, logical reasoning, and perseverance while developing effective problem-solving strategies. Eisenhower Enrichments- Math Club: Competitions Only

Math Club is designed for advanced 4th &amp; 5th grade students who enjoy challenging math and want to strengthen their problem-solving skills. Students will participate in two nationally recognized math competitions&mdash;the Continental Math League (CML) and the Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS)&mdash;held on two Thursdays each month. During the remaining Thursdays, students will work collaboratively with their peers to solve challenging problems, learn new strategies, and build the confidence needed for competition.
