The electED Foundation empowers educators and advocates in Wards 7 and 8 of DC, fostering community engagement and collaboration to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for students in underserved areas.

Power in Progress is ElectED DC&#39;s end-of-year celebration, an evening for the educators, advocates, families, and community leaders doing the work East of the River. Hosted by ElectED DC and the EED Foundation, the night brings together educators, elected officials, parents, advocates, and philanthropic leaders who are invested in students in Wards 7 and 8. This is Ward 7 and Ward 8 celebrating what we&#39;ve built and looking at what comes next for DC students. The evening opens with a welcome cocktail reception, followed by a program honoring the year&#39;s standout community leaders and educators, a community toast, and open time for the kind of conversations that happen when people actually feel welcome.&nbsp; Keynote Speaker: Councilmember Robert White, At-LargeSpecial Performance: Frenchie Davis Every part of it is built to reflect the communities ElectED DC serves.
