Annapolis Middle Title 1 and Community School Information 2025-26 Annapolis Middle School Uniform Support RequestAnnapolis Middle School serves a diverse student population, with demographics as follows:• 58.4% Hispanic• 28.8% African American• 9.7% White• 84% of students qualify as economically disadvantagedAs a uniform school, Annapolis Middle believes that wearing a uniform fosters discipline, unity, and a sense of belonging. Uniforms help reinforce expectations for behavior and dress, contributing to a focused and respectful learning environment.However, many of our students face challenges that make consistent compliance with the uniform policy difficult. To ensure all students can remain in class and concentrate on learning, we provide uniform support when needed.Reasons Students May Request Uniform Assistance• New Enrollments: Families often relocate during the school year. Due to financial constraints, some may be unable to immediately purchase the required uniform items.• Limited Access to Laundry Facilities: Students may struggle to maintain clean uniforms due to unreliable laundry services in their housing communities.• Split Households: Students who alternate between multiple households may not always have access to their uniforms.• Dress Code Enforcement: When students are out of uniform and a parent or guardian is unable to bring appropriate attire to school, we provide a uniform shirt to minimize classroom disruptions and maintain consistent policy enforcement.How You Can HelpTo support our students, we are seeking monetary donationsfor uniforms.Uniform Specifications• Polo Shirt Colors: White, Grey, Navy Blue, Purple• Sweatshirt Colors: Black, Navy Blue, Grey• Note: All items must be logo-freeEstimated Costs• Polo Shirts: $12 each• Sweatshirts: $14 each• Pants: $35 eachYour support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, helping them feel confident, prepared, and ready to learn.
