Our shared purpose is to support the students, teachers, and programs of Meridiana Elementary School.By becoming an Explorer PTO member, I acknowledge and agree to the following:* I will support the mission, goals, and values of Explorer PTO.* I will conduct myself with honesty, integrity, professionalism, and respect during all PTO meetings, events, volunteer activities, and communications, including social media.* I will treat all students, families, volunteers, school employees, and community partners with dignity and respect and will not engage in bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior.* I will communicate constructively and respectfully, recognizing that differing opinions are a natural part of a collaborative organization.* I will maintain the confidentiality of sensitive or non-public information obtained through my involvement with the PTO.* I will comply with the Explorer PTO Bylaws, Standing Rules, Board-approved policies, and all applicable Meridiana Elementary and Alvin ISD campus policies while participating in PTO activities.* I understand that individual PTO members may not speak or act on behalf of Explorer PTO unless authorized by the Executive Board.* I will avoid conflicts of interest and will disclose any potential conflicts when appropriate.* I understand that all PTO funds, property, and resources must be used solely for approved PTO purposes and may not be used for personal benefit.* I understand that behavior that is disruptive, abusive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the mission and values of Explorer PTO may result in corrective action, including removal from volunteer opportunities, committee assignments, or membership privileges, in accordance with the Explorer PTO Bylaws and applicable policies.By purchasing an Explorer PTO membership, I certify that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by this Membership Agreement and Code of Conduct. I understand that my membership signifies my commitment to supporting Explorer PTO in a respectful, collaborative, and student-focused manner.
