Family Support Services Of Amarillo

Family Support Services of Amarillo empowers individuals and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault through shelter, counseling, and advocacy. Their mission is to promote healing and prevention across Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle.

The 31st Annual Original Harley Party is one of Amarillo&rsquo;s most anticipated fundraising events benefiting Family Support Services and the life saving programs it provides to individuals and families across Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle. This high energy evening brings the community together for a night of live music, great food and drinks, exciting raffles, and unforgettable entertainment. Guests will have the chance to enter the motorcycle raffle for a brand new Harley Davidson or cash prize, enjoy live entertainment, food and drinks, bid on exclusive experiences during the live auction, and connect with community supporters who believe in the mission of supporting survivors and strengthening families. No guest ticket is included in either the reverse drawing or the Tripp&rsquo;s Raffle. Additional Tripp&rsquo;s Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each. The &nbsp;value of goods and services received for each $120 ticket is $50. Please retain this description for tax purposes.&nbsp; Drawing Guidelines:&nbsp;1. The ticket purchaser is considered the primary guest and is the only ticket eligible for the reverse drawing, $1000 Tripp&rsquo;s Raffle, and one admission to the party. The guest ticket will enable one guest to attend the party. GUEST TICKETS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE REVERSE DRAWING OR THE $1000 TRIPP&rsquo;S RAFFLE.2. Odds of winning depend on the number of tickets sold.3. All ticket sales are final - no refunds. Event will be held &ldquo;rain or shine.&rdquo;&nbsp;4. The last ticket drawn in the reverse drawing will be the winner of the reverse drawing.&nbsp;5. One number will be drawn from all Tripp&rsquo;s Raffle entries, including additional chances sold at the party.&nbsp;6. Eligible ticket holders need NOT be present to win the Grand Prize.7. All tickets purchased will benefit Family Support Services.&nbsp;8. Every guest must have a ticket or pass to enter. There is no reduced price for minor children. We ask that for the safety of all guests, no strollers be brought on the premises. Every guest must also have a wristband to be served food and beverages.&nbsp;9. The winner assumes all applicable taxes, title and registration cost. A 1099 will be issued to the Grand Prize and Tripp&rsquo;s Raffle winners.&nbsp;10. Family Support Services reserves the right to withdraw this offer and refund all proceeds.&nbsp;11. All participants in the ticket drawing must be at least 18 years of age.&nbsp;12. Must show photo ID to consume adult beverages.&nbsp;13. Attendees agree to hold harmless Family Support Services, the Board of Directors, Harley Party Committee, Staff, Volunteers, Vendors, and the TriState Exposition from any liability related to the Harley Party and Fun Run.&nbsp;14. Attendees at the Harley Party may be photographed/videotaped and images may be displayed on social media, marketing materials, and in publicity for future events. Attendees agree that no payment will be made for these images.15. A Fun Run will be held in conjunction with the Harley Party.&nbsp;A Harley Party ticket is required along with a Fun Run entry fee of $25 per bike.16. No concealed or open carry weapons will be allowed at this event. We reserve the right to check purses/bags. DOUBLE YOUR ODDS OPTION: If your number is drawn, this option places your number back into the raffle for another chance to win. Must be purchased with a regular ticket, limit ONE per ticket number. Refunds will be issued if a ticket is not purchased.

The Veterans Resource Center is hosting its Veterans Day Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament November 6&ndash;8, featuring Men&rsquo;s, Women&rsquo;s, and Coed divisions. Standard USSSA tournament rules will apply, with Coed teams playing a 6-men/4-women format.Guided by our mission of &ldquo;No Veteran Left Behind,&rdquo; all proceeds will support local veterans&mdash;whether they are experiencing homelessness, facing hardship, or working to get back on their feet.
