Support Queer Artists!

FemMenThem Queer Cabaret

FemMenThem builds the stage we were never given—centering queer, trans, and marginalized artists with bold, unapologetic work. Your support funds real artists, real community, and the power to exist without permission.

Artists are workers. Caregivers are workers. Immigrants are workers. Mothers are workers. Sex workers are workers. And smack dab in between Labor Day and Sex Worker Pride, we’re putting that labor—and the fight for dignity, safety, autonomy, and liberation—center stage.Through drag, burlesque, dance, circus, comedy, and performance art, our cast explores labor in all its forms: the work we’re paid for, the work we’re expected to do for free, the work society refuses to recognize, and the labor of keeping ourselves and each other alive. This is celebration. This is protest. This is cabaret. PAY ARTISTS. PAY SEX WORKERS. PAY PEOPLE WHAT THEY’RE WORTH.

Labor Of Love

Culture isn’t decoration. It’s what raised us, shaped us, fed us, moved us, and taught us how to survive. On August 12th, FemMenThem brings the world to the stage at Jacque’s Cabaret. Every performer in the cast will represent a different country connected to their own identity, ancestry or lived experience, transforming heritage into burlesque, drag, dance, comedy and theatrical spectacle!Come ready to cheer loudly, tip shamelessly, and experience culture as it truly is: living, complicated, powerful, sexy, and unapologetically ours!

Serving Culture

Some stories survive because people refuse to let them disappear. From banned books and blacklisted authors to queer history, radical art, and bodies that refuse to behave, we are celebrating everything they tried to silence.Join FemMenThem for an evening of unapologetic queer performance inspired by the books, ideas, and people deemed “too dangerous” to exist.Come dressed like your favorite banned character, controversial author, librarian, revolutionary, or simply as your most authentic self!

Banned in Boston

An evening of drag kings, things, and glorious gender nonsense. From swaggering heartthrobs and greasy dirtbags to boy-band dreamboats, leather daddies, awkward teenage boys, and everything in between, KING SIZED celebrates masculinity in all its ridiculous, complicated, sexy, and performative forms. Join us for a night of drag, burlesque, comedy, music, and mayhem featuring an all-king cast serving more charisma than a lifted pickup truck and more gender than should reasonably fit on one stage. Whether you’re a king, love a king, used to date a king, or are currently recovering from one, this show is for you. Come witness the art of proudly overcompensating. 👑🔥

The water’s warm, the sun is out, and absolutely no one is wading in the shallows. 😎Clamshell Cabaret surfaces Memorial Day weekend like it’s been waiting all year to misbehave in daylight. ☀️ Think sea witches with a side hustle, mermaids off their meds, pearls under pressure, pirates chasing booty, and at least one moment that feels like a wet dream. 💦It’s giving dockside delusion. It's giving salty seduction. It's giving maximum hydration, 'cause we'd never leave you thirsty. 🍹 Get in early. Get comfortable. Or don’t—and spend the rest of the weekend hearing about it from people who did.Once the clams close, you’re high and dry. 🐚

Clamshell Cabaret

Black burlesque isn’t a side note—it’s the source. May 13th is Black Burlesque Day, and we’re celebrating by honoring the performers who shaped this art form from the very beginning! The ones who defined its rhythm, its humor, its edge, and its power, too often without the credit they deserved. From Josephine Baker, whose work blurred sensuality, satire, and resistance, to Gladys Bentley, performing in tuxedos and top hats while openly bending gender and sexuality, to Stormé DeLarverie ,a drag king and emcee whose presence carried from stages into queer resistance—this has always been the lineage. We are taking you back in time for a little history lesson. Pay attention.

Black Burlesque Day

April Showers is a cozy, rain‑kissed night of queer cabaret, celebrating fluidity, tenderness, and all the ways we bloom together. ☔🌈 By joining us, you’re supporting a stage where queer and trans performers lead the story, center pleasure, and hold space for every body and identity. Grab your spot, come as you are, and let’s get a little drenched in joy.

April Showers

March Of The Matriarchs

This Black History Month, we celebrate the power, beauty, and brilliance of Black queer artistry in a night of burlesque that honors our ancestors and ignites our future. Join us for an unforgettable showcase of seduction, strength, humor, and unapologetic self-expression, featuring an all-Black cast of performers redefining glamour, gender, and liberation on their own terms. This is more than a show—it’s a celebration of survival, creativity, and Black queer joy. Come witness a stage where history meets fantasy, where bodies become poetry, and where liberation shimmers under the spotlight.

Late Night at the Video Store

Apparently, getting older is supposed to make you quieter, more sensible, and easier to ignore. That sounds fucking terrible. For Rita’s birthday, FemMenThem is digging through the archives and bringing back the acts that deserve another life—older, wiser, hotter, and considerably better rehearsed. These aren’t reruns. They’re rewrites.Performers are returning to acts they created for past FemMenThem shows, taking everything they’ve learned since, and rebuilding them into stronger, sharper, stage-ready pieces they can carry forward in their professional repertoires.Because queer art deserves more than one night. It deserves time to develop. Space to fail. Permission to change. And another chance to walk into the room like it owns the place.Consider each resurrected act Rita’s birthday present: something old, something improved, and something hot enough to require a fire permit we absolutely do not have.Come celebrate another year of Rita, another year of FemMenThem, and the glorious fact that none of us have peaked yet.OLDER, WISER, HOTTER! Rita’s Birthday Shit ShowWednesday, November 11, 2026 Jacque’s Cabaret Doors at 7 PM · Show at 8 PM 21+ Bring cash to tip the cast. Bring praise for the birthday bitch. Bring absolutely no opinions about aging unless you look this good doing it.
