Our mission
The Field Station is a nature-focused, not-for-profit learning center that
offers preschool classes and summer camps. Nestled within the
Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, the Field Station’s site is surrounded
by trails, the Little Calumet River, wetlands, and prairie.
It is the perfect setting for the Field Station, which is committed to teaching
young children about the natural world around them.
