For The Culture Homeschool Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit homeschool community in San Antonio, TX, built by and for Black and Brown families. When we couldn&#39;t find a learning space that reflected our children&#39;s identities, we created one. For the Culture Capital Campaign helps grow a steady home for our co-op classes, community events, and shared resources. Your gift supports culturally rooted curriculum, spaces for our kids to learn together, and practical tools for homeschool families. Every contribution, large or small, moves us closer to sustainable, community-led education. Since 2022, we&#39;ve grown from a 4-family cottage co-op into a thriving community of 30 co-op families and 100+ activity group families, offering weekly co-op enrichment classes, a structured microschool, field trips, and culturally grounded academic programming. Why we&#39;re raising $10,000:To expand our programs to include Spanish Language Classes, Robotics &amp; STEM, and Podcasting &amp; Media Production and to secure the classroom space, instructors, and equipment to make it sustainable. For the Culture x Girls Inc.Fall Semester 2026 We&rsquo;re excited to continue our exclusive partnership with Girls Inc. Please review these expectations before registering.Program DetailsTime: 9:30 AM&ndash;1:00 PM Ages: 6&ndash;17 Cost:&nbsp;$60 per child for the semester Capacity: 50 girls Program Type: Drop-off only Girls will be divided into age-based groups for programming and projects.Attendance &amp; PunctualityWeekly attendance is expected. Projects build from week to week, so frequent absences can make it difficult for girls to keep up. Please also make being on time for drop-off and pick-up a priority. Late arrivals can interrupt teachers and other students who are already engaged in programming.Being punctual helps us respect Girls Inc. staff, other participants, and the learning environment.Drop-Off, Pick-Up &amp; Lunch Parents and caregivers may not stay during programming. FTC families will use the back entrance.Please have your child ready to begin at 9:30 AM, drip off is as early as 9:15 am and picked up promptly at 1:00 PM. Students should bring lunch and a water bottle each week. Cold lunches are required because there will be no microwave available to heat up food.&nbsp; Representing FTC This is an exclusive FTC partnership, so we ask families to talk with their child about:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Respecting Girls Inc. teachers, staff, and other students</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Following directions and program expectations</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Allowing others to learn without unnecessary interruptions</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Respecting different identities, backgrounds, and abilities</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Taking care of the space</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Asking an adult for help when conflicts arise</li></ul>We do not expect perfection, but we do expect families to partner with us when concerns come up. Field TripsGirls Inc. may offer field trips and special activities during the semester. Families will receive more advance notice this year whenever possible. Semester FeeThe semester fee is $60 per child and is non-refundable.FTC takes the total cost of the semester programming and divides it among participating families. Once you register, your child&rsquo;s spot is included in that cost. Before You RegisterBy registering, families understand that weekly attendance, punctuality, respectful behavior, and family communication are expected.We&rsquo;re excited for another semester of helping our girls grow Strong, Smart &amp; Bold.
