Now in its 14th season, ROBOTICON Tampa Bay 2026, is the Foundation for Community Driven Innovation’s signature Manufacturing Month event. The event will run each weekend in October through October 24, and will be held at the new Hillsborough County Public Schools- Foundation for Community Driven Innovation (HCPS-FCDI) STEM Center! Scheduled events include:* October 3 – ROBOTICON Sampler Showcase, 1pm to 5 pm: We’re kicking off our Manufacturing Month event with a sampling of the different programs including Electrathon, elementary level Light Weight Combat Robotics, FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Robotics Competition, and Drones .* October 10 – FIRST Tech Challenge BioBuzz Scrimmage - 1pm to 5 pm: Local Middle and High School level teams try out their first prototype robots for the new season* October 11 – REC Foundation Achieve tournament - 9am to 5 pm: Middle and High School level team play “Pinnacle”, this season’s new challenge and vie to earn a spot in the State Championship* October 17 & 18 – FIRST Robotics Competition Off-Season tournament – 9 am to 5 pm both days: See 120 lb. high school student built robots play last season’s game one more time and vie for the title of 2026 ROBOTICON Champions!* October 24 – RECF Aerial Drone Competition – 9 am to 5 pm: Check out Middle and High School teams from around the area putting their piloting skills to the test in this year’s challenge “Fast Track”!Tickets are free but must be secured separately for each event. Educator Information Sessions are also available at each event for Hillsborough County Public School educators.A donor (Booster) option is also available, with proceeds helping support our nonprofit's youth programs.
