Zakāh Fund: Supporting Needy Students of Sacred KnowledgeMany sincere students pursuing Islamic scholarship face financial hardship while committing their time to study. Our Zakāh Fund allows qualified students who fall under the category of fuqarāʾ to continue their education without being burdened by tuition costs.Your zakāh can therefore directly support the cultivation of future teachers, scholars, and community leaders.1. Ensuring Zakāh Reaches Eligible RecipientsOur students undergo a careful screening process to ensure that zakāh funds are distributed only to those who qualify as fuqarāʾ according to the guidelines of Islamic law.3. A Clear and Sharīʿah-Compliant Distribution ProcessTo ensure proper zakāh dispensation, we establish two-way wakālah agreements with eligible students. This allows us to collect zakāh on their behalf and apply it directly toward their tuition. Our New InitiativesAs our work grows, we are launching new initiatives designed to address critical needs within the Muslim community.Reverts Education Program: New Muslims often struggle to find structured education and support after accepting Islam. We are establishing a semester-based program that will teach the fundamentals of the faith, Qurʾān, and essential practices such as prayer. Our goal is to provide a community for reverts.Post-Graduate Program: Many ʿulamāʾ and ʿālimāt graduates want and need development on addressing contemporary challenges. This program will provide advanced training in areas such as Western philosophy and modern ideological trends so scholars can effectively guide the next generation.Structured MSA Engagement: MSAs frequently lack consistent scholarly guidance. We aim to provide regular workshops and lectures, and mentorship for both college and high-school MSAs, strengthening their identities and intellectual development as Muslims.Intensives and Retreats: We will organize large inter-MSA intensives and retreats that bring together multiple student organizations for leadership training and meaningful networking.
