Four Winds Tribe Louisiana Cherokee Confederation

Four Winds Tribe Louisiana Cherokee fosters cultural preservation and community empowerment through education, scholarships, and events. We support our members and promote Native American heritage while building a strong, united community.

Help us invest in our youth’s future Through the Four Winds Tribe Louisiana Cherokee Confederation Scholarship Fund, we are raising funds to provide scholarships for our youth entering college or currently attending college. We are also working to start an after-school program for our school aged children, where they can learn about their heritage and culture while receiving tutoring and assistance for their educational needs. This effort supports our mission to educate Native youth and the surrounding communities about Native American history, heritage, and culture. Your donation helps support these important education efforts and the next generation of our community. Please give today to help make this vision a reality.

Native American Heritage and Culture Day

One of the goals of the Four Winds Tribe Louisiana Cherokee is to support our Tribal youth in attaining their educational goals. The Scholarship Fund will be awarded to Tribal youth who demonstrate leadership by attending and volunteering at Tribal functions and show a knowledge of Tribal history and culture. Donations may be made in honor or memory of a beloved Tribal member and are tax deductible.

FOUR WINDS TRIBE LOUISIANA CHEROKEE CONFEDERATON BUILDING FUND

Our Annual Powwow is a gathering to celebrate our heritage and culture and to share who we are as Native Americans with the communities we live in. The expenses incurred in putting on a Powwow can be hefty. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 to cover Powwow expenses and fund our Scholarship Fund and Building Fund. From our net proceeds, 1/4 of the proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund and 1/4 will go to the Building Fund. The remaining 1/2 will go to our Powwow fund for future Powwows.
