Frankenmuth Civic Events Council

The Frankenmuth Civic Events Council promotes community spirit and cultural heritage through events like the Bavarian Festival, celebrating local traditions and fostering connections among residents and visitors.

In honor of this year&#39;s Grand Marshal, the Michigan Heroes Museum and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, our 2026 parade theme is &quot;Land of Dreams; 250 years of Hope and Heritage&quot;. The Bavarian Festival Parade will be held on June 14, 2026 starting at 1pm.The Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival Parade Committee requests this application be filled out completely. Any changes made after application entry must be submitted to the Parade Committee for final acceptance.The deadline for receipt of entry applications is May 31, 2026. Any entries received after that date will be viewed by the Parade Committee at their discretion.&nbsp; Lineup positions will be emailed to you within the week leading up to the parade. Parade judging takes place at 11:00 am. Parade units must be in place by 11:00 am to qualify for judging. Any other units are asked to be in lineup by noon, prior to road closures. Parade starts at 1:00pm. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Bavarian Festival Parade Sign-Up

The Main Tent will be located in Zehnder park and will host a number of traditional German entertainers and polka bands.Join us Thursday evening for the raising of the Maypole with music in the Main Tent afterwards.The Rock Tent will be located behind Tiffany&#39;s, rocking Friday and Saturday night.The Friday Night Street Party is going to fill Main Street with bands, beverages,games and a zip line.Saturday will play host to a number of events happening through town including the Kindertag Parade &amp; Cornhole Tournament.The tents are closed on Sunday so everyone can enjoy the one and only Bavarian Festival Parade.All of this and more for only $15 general admission, kids 12 and under are free!

Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival Cornhole Tournament

Come join us to celebrate the crowning of the 2026 Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival Princes!The night will start off with meeting the court members. Let&#39;s wish them well as they prepare for their final judging this evening.Following cocktails and dinner, there will be a presentation from the outgoing 2025 Bavarian Festival Princess and Court, remarks from the current CEC President, Darcy Nickelss Berry, brown vest recognition of the 2025 CEC President along with honoring the newest recipient of the Richard G. Krafft Jr. Award. Crowning of the 2026 Bavarian Festival Princess will immediately follow.Dinner will include a wonderful meal prepared by Zehnder&#39;s, and the night will conclude with live polka music and dancing.Purchase includes dinner with salads, sides and dessert. Cash bar will also be available.German attire is encouraged but not mandatory.We are looking forward to celebrating with you as we support these young ladies on their one-year journey representing our beautiful town of Frankenmuth.
