Friends of Civil Affairs (FOCA) is a 75% Veterans organization. General membership is open to Soldiers who have served in the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) or the 85th Civil Affairs Brigade and their lineage units – past and present. Family Members can join, but non-veterans cannot exceed 25% of the membership. What is the purpose of FOCA? Ø Support the welfare and morale of the Active Component Civil Affairs family. Ø Elevate the personal and professional development of the Active Component Civil Affairs through effective networking and communication. Ø Promote the excellence within the Active Duty Civil Affairs force through recognition programs. Ø Provide financial assistance to FOCA member Families through a scholarship program. Ø Memorialize Soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.
