Friends of Feeney

LXCL:The mission of Friends of Feeney is to support children and families who need assistance after heartbreak and tragedy.​Our efforts benefit local children and families shortly following life's most difficult situations, whether it be the loss of a family member, illness diagnosis, property damage, or other challenging circumstances.​Since our founding, Friends of Feeney has provided over $310,000 to more than 145 local families.

Join us on Friday, August 14 for our fifth annual Friends of Nicholas fundraiser with the Hartford Yard Goats at Dunkin&#39; Park.&nbsp; Tickets are $25 and we will have a section of the right field porch dedicated to our group. Our group will also have the opportunity to hold the American flag on the field before the game! 2026 Friends of Feeney Yard Goats Fundraiser

Join us for a special evening at Lux Bond &amp; Green at 46 LaSalle Road in support of Friends of Feeney, a local organization dedicated to helping local families facing heartbreak and tragedy. From unexpected loss to illness and hardship, Friends of Feeney provides direct financial assistance and vital community resources when they&rsquo;re needed most. Enter our Watch Raffle for a chance to win a Big Crown Calibre 113 (01 113 7800 4057-07 8 21 06) valued at $8,100 , with 100% of proceeds benefiting Friends of Feeney. On Thursday, June 18th from 5 to 7 p.m. at our West Hartford store, we&rsquo;re partnering with Oris Watch Company to host a meaningful event bringing together our community, watch enthusiasts and supporters for a great cause. 10% of all Oris sales during the event will be donated to support Friends of Feeney. 2025 Friends of Feeney Yard Goats Fundraiser

Due to weather, this event has been postponed until Saturday, July 26 Enjoy a summer afternoon with a cornhole tournament at WeHa Brewing &amp; Roasting Co. and help raise money for two community organizations in West Hartford. Join us on Saturday, July 26 for the bracket-style competition, open to all! Proceeds benefit Friends of Feeney, a nonprofit that assists local children and families following heartbreak and tragedy, and Sedgwick PTO, which is raising money to support 7th and 8th grade sports at Sedgwick Middle School.&nbsp; Space is limited, so don&#39;t wait to sign up! Top teams will receive prizes.&nbsp;

Thanks to our friends at Raymour & Flanigan on New Park Ave., 100% of proceeds will go to Friends of Feeney.  Tickets are only $12 ($40 for a family of 4+). 2024 Friends of Feeney Yard Goats Fundraiser

Join us on Sunday, April 28 to celebrate the life of Howard Maytan. The celebration will take place from 1-5pm at the Owl Pavillion at Winding trails in Farmington. Activities include Makerspace building opportunities courtesy of Elmwood Makerspace, a magician & clown, bubbles, chalk, dot art, dancing and more. Howard Maytan Celebration of Life

This fundraiser is to support the Vazquez family after their son, Levi, underwent surgery to treat neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer affecting glands above the kidney.  Levi was born on March 3, 2023, and is the son of Leslie and Joseph Vazquez of Meriden. When Levi was only two months old, a mass that had first been spotted before his birth was determined to be cancerous. On June 30th, he underwent adrenalectomy surgery. The tumor was fully resected and now 7 months old, Levi is cancer-free. However, the family is in need of support to cover medical costs. The road to recovery is not yet complete, as Levi will have two more years of follow-up appointments. <img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/hxn9dbuhd/image/upload/v1696825770/bnnao9sgv913pp7bnkb6.jpg" style="width:279px;display:inline-block;vertical-align:bottom;margin:5px 0px 5px 5px;text-align:right;max-width:calc(100% - 5px);position:relative;cursor:pointer;padding:0px 1px;user-select:none;box-sizing:inherit;float:right" /> Levi has persevered throughout the entire process. Even though he will have scars from his surgery, his family believes they will be a constant reminder that he can overcome anything that life will throw his way.  The fundraiser will be held on Thursday, November 2nd in the Barrel Room at New Park Brewing in West Hartford. Admission is $30 and covers one free drink plus free pizza throughout the evening. There will be live music and a raffle with great prizes.  Admission is capped at 85 people, so get your tickets now before they sell out! 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Vazquez family.  If you would like to support the cause but cannot attend the event, you can do so through the section labeled, "Add a donation for Friends of Feeney". Friends of Feeney is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission of helping children and families in need after heartbreak and tragedy.

Fundraiser for Levi

We will be holding our annual Yard Goats fundraiser on Friday, August 18th at Dunkin' Park as the Yard Goats take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Tickets are $20 and we will have a section of the right field porch dedicated to our group. This year's game is in honor of our friend Nicholas Parenti, who passed away shortly after last year's game.  Thanks to the Yard Goats, this year will be extra special! Prior to the game, we will have a group photo taken on the field. Additionally, kids will welcome the Yard Goats players to the field with a high-five tunnel out of the dugout.  Tickets will be received via email with 3 days of payment confirmation. Friends of Feeney Yard Goats Fundraiser

Friends of Feeney is teaming up with the Connecticut Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (CT IRIS) to raise money for a Ukraine family relocating to West Hartford. The event, held at New Park Brewing on April 28th, will help to raise funds for housing, transportation, and household needs for the relocating family. Tickets can be purchased for $40 and includes pizza, a drink ticket, and a custom bracelet made by local children. The event will also feature a raffle and live music from the John Street Bank, Connecticut's premiere classic rock cover band. Don't wait! Capacity is limited to 120 attendees and we expect tickets to sell out.
