The purpose of the Friends of the Livingston County Library is to encourage a closer relationship between the Livingston County Library and the community; to focus public attention on educational services of the library, facilities and needs; to promote a greater realization of the importance of the library to the future development of the community; to aid in the provision of adequate housing and other facilities for the library; and to receive and administer such funds as may be donated for these purposes.
