The Garden Club of Somerset Hills fosters a love for gardening, environmental stewardship, and community engagement through educational programs, events, and collaborative projects that enhance the beauty and sustainability of our local environment.

Join us for our 2026 Opening Meeting &amp; Luncheon at Somerset Hills CC. 🌿 Gather to enjoy a lovely luncheon with fellow members to learn about our upcoming season and get Club updates and news. &nbsp;Plan to arrive by 11:45 am, so we can start promptly at 12pm.&nbsp; The cost is $45 pp. &nbsp;You can pay online by clicking the Add+ button. Enjoy a guided tour and simple lunch with garden jewelry designer and plantswoman Janet Mavec at Bird Haven Farm 🌿 While we have an idyllic &nbsp;morning &nbsp;walk along the property&#39;s &nbsp;looping path we will be treated to a first hand guided look &nbsp;at the &quot;spring awakening&quot; &nbsp;that will be happening at Bird Haven Farm. Next will be a festive lunch catered by Bex Kitchen. Janet will talk more about the design vision and the emphasis on sustainability, stewardship and sharing &nbsp;that are the themes of &nbsp;her new book BIRD HAVEN:THE STORY OF AN ORIGINAL AMERICAN GARDEN. Your visit supports the Garden Club of Somerset Hills as we promote thoughtful gardening, protect native species, and care for the natural beauty of our community 🌱

Join us for our Flora &amp; Flight club flower show at Roxiticus Golf Club. &nbsp;The show will feature three disciplines: Horticulture, Photography and Botanical Arts. &nbsp; Tickets are $25 per person, which includes wine/lunch.&nbsp; The last day to buy your lunch tickets is April 22.&nbsp; Admission is free if you are going to view the exhibits only. &nbsp; We encourage you to bring friends/guests and make a lovely day out of it! &nbsp;We would love robust attendance to help celebrate all the hard work put in by our chairs and exhibitors.

Through this work, the Garden Club of Somerset Hills supports open space, conservation, education, and civic improvement through horticulture projects and community grants.&nbsp; Tickets are $150 pp -- spouses and/or guests are warmly welcome! &nbsp;RSVP by May 5. If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, please use the donation button below the ticket options. Thank you!

GCSH brings members together around everything that grows &mdash; guest speakers, garden history, horticulture, visiting garden trips, floral design workshops, photography, conservation, and civic beautification. Our Floral Design Committee hosts workshops and grower visits throughout the season, open to members &nbsp;and their guests at every level of experience.

From Field to Vase: Dahlia Day at Bewitching Blooms

Visiting Gardens is excited to offer an opportunity to tour the Reeves Reed Arboretum in Summit followed by afternoon tea in the Secret Tea Room at the historic Wisner House on October 21, 2026. Channel your inner &quot;Bridgerton spirit&quot; and gear-up for this unique English tea, where we will dine on fresh sandwiches and scones in a spectacular old-world setting.The Secret Tea Room is a pop-up that operates in three historic homes, in Summit, Montclair and Princeton, and due to its &quot;not-so-secret&quot; reputation, reservations are filled as soon as dates are announced.&nbsp; We are fortunate to have 20 slots at a cost of $70 per person for the tour and tea. &nbsp;The schedule is 1:15 arrival at Reeves Reed for a 1:30 tour and a 2:30-4:00 tea in the Wisner House (on site). We encourage you to invite a friend or someone who may be interested in joining the GCSH. All payments are non-refundable. For any questions or dietary restrictions please contact Jan or Cissy.
