🌟 Join us in Mission Possible ! 🌟At Gethsemane Lutheran Church, through careful financial stewardship, we will be able to replace our roof by using our building fund, capital reserves, and loans. While we are grateful to have protected our church home, this necessary investment has left our financial reserves nearly depleted. As a small congregation already working within a tight budget, we no longer have the financial cushion needed to meet future ministry and maintenance needs. Beyond addressing the immediate issues, we're committed to ensuring better accessibility throughout our entire building. Misión Posible

Gethsemane Lutheran Church has long stood as a beacon of service in Lexington, and especially the Gardenside neighborhood. At Gethsemane Lutheran Church, through the use of our capital reserves, building fund, and loans, we will be able to replace our failing 50+ years old roof. While we are grateful to have protected our church home, this almost $200,000 necessary investment has left our financial reserves nearly depleted. We are a small congregation already working within a tight budget, we no longer have the financial cushion needed to meet future ministry and maintenance needs. To continue our mission of service to the community, we must ensure our resources match the growing needs of the families and individuals we serve every day.Your support is about more than just replacing a 7,00 square foot roof. It is an investment in a church that has served the community. Gethsemane Lutheran Church is a place of worship, compassion, fellowship, and hope for the future -- a place where faith is nurtured, and lives are touched. We provide the only Blessing Box of food items and more in the Gardenside area. It serves those in need, without question, and we continue to fill the box daily. We also offer a community garden space -- now only as a trial for our congregation and the Hispanic community that uses our building for its services, and we hope to enlarge that next year. We provide a free lending library for anyone. We offer a meeting place for community groups. Though we are a small congregation, our hearts and service are much bigger. To ensure this ministry continues, we must be able to protect the building with a new roof. Your generosity will help ensure that our service work continues for years to come. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Every dollar counts. We thank you in advance for whatever help you can provide.

Mission Possible
