GFWC Spring Station Woman's Club

GFWC Spring Station Woman's Club empowers women to make a difference through community service, fundraising, and support for local charities. Their initiatives focus on enhancing the lives of children and families, fostering connections, and promoting volunteerism.

Our 3rd annual Fairytale Tea Fundraiser will be Sunday, April 19th from 2 pm - 4 pm in the beautiful event barn on the grounds of Enchanted Springs at Gordon Farms. &nbsp;Prepare to be entranced by the numerous fantasy-themed decorated tables. Enjoy a variety of finger-foods fit for a princess or queen! &nbsp;Meet the adorable miniature farm animals and feed them carrots! Shop with several vendors. Past vendors included fairy hair and wands, hair braiding, permanent jewelry, decorated cookies, crafts, and many more.&nbsp; This year&#39;s beneficiary is &quot;Sleep in Heavenly Peace&quot;, a child-focused nonprofit that builds sturdy wooden beds and provides bedding to children who literally sleep on the floor or in a bed with several other family members. &nbsp;We hope to have a sample bed on display during the event. &nbsp;We are also accepting donations of new twin-sized bedding sets (comforter and sheets) in child-focused themes.

Donate to Change Lives - September Calendar Campaign

Discover the art of quilling in a relaxed, small-group class led by a local Quilling artist. Sponsored by the GFWC Spring Station Woman&rsquo;s Club, you&rsquo;ll learn how to roll, shape, and arrange paper strips to create your own finished design 🎨. Your registration supports our mission to enhance the community through volunteer service. All materials and instruction are included&mdash;just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new ✂️, along with lunch and beverages. Only $40 per person for all supplies and instruction. &nbsp;The class will be in the lower level of the Winchester Building, under the Senior Citizens Center.&nbsp;

Join us for &ldquo;Facts &amp; Myths &ndash; Exploring Breast Cancer&rdquo; 🎗️ as we look honestly at what breast cancer is, what it isn&rsquo;t, and how early detection really works. Peyton Young, DNP, FNP-BC, an RN breast specialist from Williamson Medical Center, will walk through common myths, practical screening information, and simple steps for paying attention to your own health. This program reflects our mission to enhance our community through volunteer service and education. Everyone is welcome&mdash;bring your questions, a friend, and a willingness to learn. 🩺 A light brunch and coffee will be served. &nbsp;Please register so we can save you a seat! Location: &nbsp;Basement level of Winchester Building, under the Senior Citizens Center.&nbsp;
