Don’t stress about finding the “perfect” or "right" amount. Use this as a starting point to choose the amount that feels right for you.

Camp Tuition

We operate on a sliding scale/pay-what-you-can basis for tuition to align with our commitment to economic and social justice. We believe in maximizing accessibility and contributing to reparative economic practices within our community.

Please consider paying less on the scale if you:

are under- or unemployed
have immigration-related expenses
have uncovered medical transition-related expenses
are an unpaid community organizer
are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history

Please consider paying more on the scale if you:

have a higher degree of earning power due to racial privilege, level of education, gender and/or class background, etc.
have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money
travel recreationally
would like to offset costs so more sliding scale spots are available

Camp costs range from $20,000-$45,000, depending on the number of campers and volunteers. These expenses include maintaining gear, staff and volunteer support, workshop facilitator stipends, art and music supplies, zine printing, and camp t-shirts.

In addition, we have ongoing operating expenses and administrative costs of about $1,000-$3,500 per month storage rent and insurance.
