Global Community Health Volunteers

LXCL:Global Community Health Volunteers enhances healthcare access in underserved communities through volunteer-led medical missions, providing essential services and training to local professionals, fostering sustainable health improvements. Partnering with the Marymount University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, they have served the people of Nicaragua and Guatemala for 10 years through the MU DPT annual medical mission service-learning experience. Join us on our next adventure in 2027.

Esta es la 15a misi&oacute;n m&eacute;dica organizada por el programa de DPT de la UM y el quinto a&ntilde;o consecutivo viajando a Guatemala. Muchas de estas instalaciones tienen recursos limitados y una gran cantidad de pacientes para atender. Nuestro equipo brinda un impulso necesario en el apoyo y la formaci&oacute;n de profesionales locales mientras contin&uacute;an ayudando a quienes lo necesitan. Cada d&oacute;lar donado se utilizar&aacute; para apoyar al equipo y a aquellos a quienes servimos en Panajachel.

Hemos construido relaciones sólidas con líderes comunitarios, profesionales locales y el personal del hospital público y tenemos el privilegio de poder apoyar a esta comunidad una vez más.Planeamos llevar un equipo de ~25 estudiantes y 5 profesores a Panajachel, Guatemala para trabajar en pequeñas clínicas, el hospital público, una escuela local de necesidades especiales y un centro de ancianos. Muchas de estas instalaciones tienen recursos limitados y una gran cantidad de pacientes para atender. Nuestro equipo brinda un impulso necesario en el apoyo y la formación de profesionales locales mientras continúan ayudando a quienes lo necesitan.Cada dólar donado se utilizará para apoyar al equipo y a aquellos a quienes servimos en Panajachel.
