God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world our hearts and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.Bishop Devin C. Because It’s GoodForUs!At St. James: Home of The Fresh Start, we believe that giving is an act of faith and a way to honor God, strengthen our community, and support the work of the Kingdom. Just as Peter stood on the mountain and declared: “Peter said to Jesus, ‘Rabbi, it is GoodForUs to be here…’” – Mark 9:5We, too, know that giving is GoodForUs—good for our faith, our church, and the lives we impact together.Your Giving at Work🔹 Your Tithes (10%) – Obedience to God’s WordYour tithe is a covenant with God that supports the ongoing ministry, church operations, and outreach efforts that keep our faith community thriving.🔹 Your Offering (Any Amount) – A Gift of GratitudeBeyond your tithe, your offering is a freewill gift that strengthens church initiatives, helps those in need, and expands our ability to serve.Your generosity directly impacts lives by supporting specific initiatives:✅ Provides support for underprivileged families facing financial hardship.✅ Covers scholarships for students pursuing faith-based education.✅ Helps fund mission trips, community outreach, and crisis assistance programs.By giving through the GoodForUs Platform, more of your donation goes directly to helping those in need, reducing transaction costs and multiplying the impact of your generosity and compounding to help others globally.Give Today—Because It’s GoodForUs!Your faith-filled giving allows us to spread the Gospel, serve our neighbors, and build a stronger community in Christ.Thank you for your faithfulness.
