Join the Goodwill Ambassadors for a fun-filled day of friendly competition, community, and giving back! This cornhole tournament is more than just a game. It’s an opportunity to support Goodwill’s BookWorks Program, which is transforming lives through the power of literacy. BookWorks connects dedicated volunteers with young readers by visiting Head Start centers and community locations, where they read to children and provide them with personalized books to take home. Thus, helping spark a lifelong love of reading. The program also supports elementary-aged students by supplying books through Book Rooms in Clearwater and Wildwood, reaching schools and communities in need across an 8-county area. The impact is real and growing:📚 90,768+ books distributed in the past year🎧 100+ recorded stories shared👧🏽👦🏼 66,975 children from low-income families served🏫 154 locations reached Every team that registers and every donation made helps ensure that more children have access to books, stories, and the opportunities that come with strong literacy skills. Whether you're a seasoned player or just here for the fun, your participation helps open the door to education, confidence, and future success; one book and one child at a time.
