Stringing Benefit Raffle 2026

Join GMKETL on Memorial Day Weekend for a Tennis Stringing Workshop Fundraiser, where we&rsquo;ll be teaching the basics of racquet stringing, demonstrating the process live, and stringing racquets for free during the event. This is a great chance to learn a useful tennis skill, ask questions, and get a closer look at how proper stringing can impact feel and performance on the court. While stringing is free, donations are encouraged to support the GMKETL summer season. Played on a smaller court with walls that stay in play, padel delivers nonstop action without the steep learning curve. The Greater Milwaukee Tennis League is excited to host this second edition and continue introducing our community to new racquet-sport experiences. GMKETL Cream City Charity Raffle February 2026

Join us for a special Black History Month Friday tennis event celebrating excellence, community, and the impact of Black athletes on the game. This social tennis gathering welcomes players of all levels for friendly match play, open hitting, and good energy on and off the court. We&rsquo;ll honor the legacy of trailblazers like Arthur Ashe and Althea Gibson while creating space to connect, compete, and build community through tennis. Expect music, great rallies, and a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere focused on fun, respect, and shared love for the sport. The first hour will focus on structured drills and mini-clinics covering groundstrokes, serves, returns, and net play to build rhythm and fundamentals. The second hour will transition into match play and competitive drills, emphasizing point construction, movement, and fun, fast-paced competition.

Experience tennis in a new way with GMKETL&rsquo;s Tennis Triples Tournament&mdash;a dynamic 3-on-3 format that emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and quick reflexes! This event aligns with our mission to make tennis more accessible and community-focused. Tournament Format:&nbsp; &nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Teams: Each team consists of 3 players&mdash;one at the net and two on the baseline.&nbsp; &nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Rotation: Players rotate positions clockwise after every point, ensuring dynamic play and equal participation.&nbsp; &nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Scoring: Matches are best 2 out of 3 games. Each game is played to 11 points, win by 2.&nbsp; &nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Serving: Teams alternate serving every 6 points. The serving team serves the first 6 points, then the opposing team serves the next 6, continuing this pattern throughout the game. Whether you&rsquo;re a seasoned player or new to the game, this tournament offers a fun, inclusive environment to connect with fellow tennis enthusiasts. GMKETL 50/50 Raffle SeriesSupport the league and win big. This season, GMKETL is hosting three 50/50 raffles during our Grand Slam Watch Parties. Half the pot goes to the winner, and the other half supports league programming, equipment, and community tennis events. It’s a fun way to give back — and maybe take some home too. Expect organized tennis play, mahjong tables, social games, and plenty of chances to meet new people on and off the court. Participants can register for tennis, mahjong, or both. Every event GMKETL&rsquo;s mission to make tennis more accessible, inclusive, and community-driven across Greater Milwaukee while creating fresh ways for people to connect through sport, play, and shared experiences.
