Hale Koa Security Intermediate Emergency Medical Response Course

The emergency medical response for private security course is an innovative training program for security personnel which interweaves classroom learning, hands-on skills building, and reality-based training scenarios designed to enhance lifesaving skills under stress. The course provides up-to-date science and research instructed by the leading experts on law enforcement resuscitation. Students will learn high-performance resuscitation, AED applications, emergency bleeding control, security considerations, and more.&nbsp; This course provides realistic field scenarios custom-created for private security to increase survival and better outcomes of time-sensitive medical emergencies like cardiac arrest, uncontrolled bleeding, overdoses, drownings, and other incidents. The &ldquo;force-on-force&rdquo; methodology from law enforcement training is taken by Griffith Blue Hearts advanced law enforcement instructors and applied to private security response for emergency medical incidents. This course uses evaluators, role players, real-time feedback manikins, bleeding simulators, AEDs, and more to put student&rsquo;s lifesaving skills to the test. This reality-based training allows security officers to sharpen their lifesaving skills in a safe training environment and gives them a blueprint to draw from when actual life &amp; death emergencies occur.

The law enforcement front line emergency medical response course is an innovative training program for sworn peace officers which interweaves classroom learning, hands-on skills building, and reality-based training scenarios designed to enhance officers&#39; lifesaving skills under stress. The course provides up-to-date science and research to ensure law enforcement is provided with high-performance training needed for incorporation in the field.&nbsp; The training is designed for sworn front line law enforcement and provides students with realistic field conditions, stress inoculation, proficiency evaluation, and development to enhance lifesaving skills for time-sensitive medical emergencies. This course utilizes experienced evaluators, live role players, high-fidelity feedback manikins, training AEDs, bleeding simulators and more to evaluate and enhance participants&rsquo; skill set. The course is comprised of a classroom learning phase, hands-on skills-building phase, and reality-based training scenarios. Lunch is provided and this training is being donated by Griffith Blue Heart Nonprofit and AED Institute of America thanks to the generous sponsorship by Philips.&nbsp;

O'ahu Law Enforcement Front Line Emergency Medical Response Course

The Advanced Law Enforcement Medical Response training is the follow up course to Griffith Blue Heart&rsquo;s Law Enforcement Front Line Emergency Medical course. This is next level training for our past students who have previously completed one of Griffith Blue Hearts past courses (LE High-performance resuscitation course, LE Front Line Emergency Medical, Train-the-Trainer). Registrants will dive deeper into emergency medical response for front line personnel within law enforcement&rsquo;s scope and practice. &nbsp;&nbsp; Students will go through a classroom phase, skills-building phase, and reality-based field training scenarios. This course will cover further time-sensitive medical emergencies like sucking chest wounds, anaphylaxis, self-aid, triage, and more. This course is designed to apply the previous medical skills you learned in our former training along with new skills to better prepare you for the realities of law enforcement medical response. &nbsp;&nbsp;

O'ahu Advanced Law Enforcement Emergency Medical Response Course

The law enforcement front line emergency medical response course is an innovative training program for sworn peace officers which interweaves classroom learning, hands-on skills building, and reality-based training scenarios designed to enhance officers' lifesaving skills under stress. The course provides up-to-date science and research to ensure law enforcement is provided with the lifesaving skills needed for incorporation in the field.&nbsp; This 2-day course is designed to bring the participant from student to trainer providing students realistic field conditions, stress inoculation, instructor development, and curriculum framework for time-sensitive medical emergencies which law enforcement frequently respond to. This course utilizes experienced evaluators, live actors, high-fidelity feedback manikins, bleeding simulators and more to evaluate and enhance participants’ lifesaving skills. Day 1 is comprised of classroom learning, skills-building, and reality-based training scenarios. Day 2 transitions the student to trainer with course faculty providing the principles, concepts and educational materials to the trainer candidate who can then go on to train other first responders in high-performance resuscitation.&nbsp;
