Halo For Animals

Halo For Animals supports the City of Sullivan's animal control by providing care for pound pets. They ensure these animals receive necessary veterinary treatment and promote spay/neuter initiatives, helping them find loving forever homes.

Two pound dogs need some help. Meet Betty. She&rsquo;s not quite ready for adoption because she needs your help first. This sweet girl is estimated to be 6+ years old, and animal control was told Betty is already spayed. One of the ways Halo helps the pets in the city&rsquo;s pound is by providing medical care to give them the best chance at finding a forever home. This sweet little guy was thin when he arrived at the pound and continued to lose weight. There was some improvement, but he&rsquo;s lost the weight he gained. Lots of medical conditions have been ruled out. It was decided to go ahead and have him neutered and see if that may help him. Thank you to the animal control officer for allowing one of our volunteers to keep Rocky in her home while everyone tries to figure out just what is going on with him. We hope a less stressful environment will help this adorable pup.
