Hāmākua Youth Center is a community-rooted nonprofit serving youth ages 6-18 along Hawaiʻi’s rural Hāmākua Coast. Through vital and innovative out-of-school programming, we provide tutoring, mentorship, cultural learning, and life skills grounded in the Native Hawaiian tenets of kuleana, aloha, laulima, and mahalo.Your support helps ensure keiki and ʻopio have access to safe spaces, caring adults, and opportunities to grow into confident, connected leaders. Now entering its thirtieth year, the Hāmākua Youth Center provides a vital sanctuary and out-of-school programming for youth ages 5 to 18.
