Class description: Join Kimmie Rose Wednesday evenings at 7:15 PM at Happy Animal Sanctuary in Howell for a gentle, grounding evening of movement, meditation, and sound. We’ll begin with about 15 minutes of gentle yoga and mindful movement, giving the body a chance to slow down and settle. From there, we’ll move into an extended sound healing experience using therapeutic sound and vibration to create space for deep rest, relaxation, and nervous system regulation. You don’t need to be flexible, experienced with yoga, or familiar with sound healing. Come exactly as you are. When you arrive: • Class begins at 7:15 PM. Feel free to arrive 15–20 minutes early to walk around the sanctuary and visit the animals. • Parking is available in the gravel lot or along the grass on the street closest to the fence. • Walk to the wooden fence gate and enter through the gate door on the right. • Please make sure the gate is securely closed behind you. • Follow the gravel path all the way to the gray building with the boxing bags hanging outside. That’s where we’ll practice and meditate. What to bring:Space is limited, and we only have a few extra yoga mats available, so please plan to bring your own yoga mat whenever possible. You’re also encouraged to bring anything else that will help you feel comfortable during the sound healing. A blanket, pillow or bolster, water, and anything else you like to have for deep relaxation. The more comfortable you are, the more you can actually let yourself relax. Supporting the sanctuary:This is a donation-based experience, and your contribution helps support the ongoing work of Happy Animal Sanctuary and the care of the animals. Cash donations are welcome, although online registration is encouraged so we can plan for the evening and have an idea of how many people will be joining us. Come move a little. Breathe a little deeper. Get quiet for a while. And just be. Leave feeling a little more connected to yourself and the world around you.
