Harriet Tubman Elementary School Parent-teacher Organization

The Harriet Tubman Elementary School PTO strengthens the school community by funding activities, events, and support for students, families, and educators, fostering engagement and enrichment opportunities for all involved.

Join us for Welcome Home Tubman: A Journey Back Together, a special community Homecoming celebration marking our return to Harriet Tubman Elementary School. This event will bring together current students and families, staff, alumni, former families, community partners, and neighbors for an afternoon of celebration, connection, school pride, and opportunities to experience our renovated school home. Guests can look forward to school tours, family-friendly activities, food and refreshments, community engagement, Tubman spirit, and opportunities to reconnect with the people and history that make our school community special. Admission and event details will be shared as plans are finalized. You can also support Welcome Home Tubman through this campaign. Contributions will help the PTO cover event-related expenses such as activities, supplies, food and refreshments, entertainment, accessibility needs, decorations, and other costs associated with creating a welcoming celebration for our entire community. Whether you attend, volunteer, sponsor, donate, or simply help spread the word, we invite you to be part of this special moment in Tubman’s story. Welcome Home, Tubman. 💚💛

Tubman Homecoming: Welcome Home Tubman!

Help make learning beyond the classroom accessible to every Tubman student. The Student Field Trip Fund helps offset transportation, admission, program, and other field trip costs so that financial circumstances do not prevent students from participating in educational experiences with their classmates. Our goal is to raise $4,000 to help expand access to meaningful learning experiences throughout the school year.

Our goal is to raise $4,000 to directly support the people who support our students.

Introducing the Tubman Cares FundStronger Together, Every Step of the Way. At Harriet Tubman Elementary, we believe that our community is strongest when we look out for one another. The Tubman PTO is establishing the Tubman Cares Fund, a community-supported initiative designed to provide temporary financial assistance to Tubman families facing unexpected emergencies or financial hardships. Whether it’s an unexpected utility bill, a housing-related emergency, or another urgent need that affects a family’s stability, this fund is intended to offer a helping hand when it matters most. Through the generosity of our families, neighbors, alumni, and community partners, we hope to build a lasting resource that helps ensure our students and their families feel supported during difficult times. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Together, we can build a community where no family has to face life’s unexpected challenges alone. One school. One community. Tubman Together. 💚💛 Assistance will be subject to available funding and the PTO’s established eligibility and distribution guidelines.
