Wizard of Oz Presented By Sonoco

We need to raise 15,000 dollars to cover the costs to rent Watson Theater at Coker, to provide a scholarships to students in need, and to purchase insurance, props, and stage materials to make our show come to life.&nbsp; Enter Hartsville Little Theatre&rsquo;s 50/50 Shrek&rsquo;s Swamp Raffle to help us get there!&nbsp; The grand prize is cash, but we have prizes to raffle off as well! Some of the prizes we have to raffle: a V6 Charbroil Vibe flattop gas grill from Fleur De Lis, a facial from Spa Soleil, a MOGS giftcard, a mahjong mat, a hand painted porch sign from Sunflower Soul Art, a 30 min picture session with included photos from Alaina Malloy Photography, 15 layer chocolate cake from Kristin&#39;s Kreations, &nbsp;a free monogrammed item from Nina Miller,&nbsp; Your ticket helps local kids step onto the stage with confidence through our acting, music, and theater workshops. Half of the pot goes to one winning ticket, and the other half supports our production. Every entry backs real rehearsal time, coaching, and performances&nbsp;for students in this production.

Shrek Registration

Step into the swamp and onto the stage!&nbsp; Open to rising 6th to 12 grades.&nbsp; Register for Hartsville Little Theatre&rsquo;s Shrek Acting Workshop, where you&rsquo;ll explore characterization, voice, and dance through scenes and moments from Shrek.&nbsp; Performance will be mid November.&nbsp; Guided by local theater teachers, students will build confidence, sharpen acting skills, and collaborate with fellow performers in a supportive, inclusive, and creative space.&nbsp; Limited to 35 participants. Everyone is guaranteed a role. There are 35 roles. Our workshop is first come, first served. Once we reach 35 registrants, we will close registration.&nbsp; Auditions will be submitted by video and judged by a panel of impartial local theater experts. Decisions will be announced in July and scripts will be distributed over summer for actors to learn lines before workshop starts.&nbsp; Theater workshop will meet on Thursdays OR Fridays 4:30-7 weekly (you choose what works better), and closer to the show, it may be necessary to practice some select Saturdays and Sundays. Actors will be required to be at rehearsal daily the two weeks leading up to performance. Workshop will begin August 6th and will conclude November 8th.&nbsp; Workshop cost is 50 dollars to hold your space for auditions, and 200 dollars after that for a total of 250 dollars. Payment plans are available. &nbsp;Some scholarships are available.
