Hawai'i's Volcano Circus

Hawai'i's Volcano Circus fosters community through the arts, blending circus performance with local culture. They aim to inspire creativity, promote inclusivity, and support the development of artistic talents in Hawaii's diverse communities.

Join us July 27th-31st 2026 for an unforgettable HICCUP Circus Summer camp!! Each day starts at 10:30am and runs until 3:00pm.&nbsp;Enjoy 5 action packed days full of circus skills like juggling, aerial, unicycling, stilts, and acrobatics! Plus hands on exploration in the garden with Out on a Limb and learning to work with clay in our Jungle Pottery Studio! Camp tuition is offered on a&nbsp;sliding scale of $200&ndash;$300 per child&nbsp;to help keep Hiccup Circus Summer Camp thriving and accessible for our community.Choose the contribution that feels right for your family:$200 &mdash; Camp RateA joyful week of circus, &nbsp;pottery, gardening, creativity, movement, games, outdoor fun, and connection.$250 &mdash; Supporting RateHelps sustain camp operations, materials, and our amazing teaching team with fair wages.$300 &mdash; Community Supporter RateHelps support local teachers, sustain youth circus arts in Lower Puna, and cover camp costs for children who might not otherwise be able to attend. Spring Show: Lord of the Juggling Rings

Hoop diving, Pyramids and Cartwheels oh my!This 8 week performance class is for kids who want to perform in the acro/tumbling act in our Spring show. We will have a primary focus on act creation and presentation.&nbsp; This class runs every Thursday from 3:30pm-4:45pmGroup acrobatic acts require consistent attendance as this is a collaborative endeavor where we all rely on one another to execute the poses. Sliding-Scale TuitionThanks to grants and community support, we offer sliding-scale pricing HICCUP Circus classes.Families are invited to contribute what they can so every child has access. Please register ASAP to reserve your place in this upcoming training.&nbsp; The training includes:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">First Aid, CPR and AED for adults, children and infants</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">2.5-hr - 5-hr online theory session (duration depends on your prior knowledge)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">3-hr in-person skills session</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">2-year Red Cross Certification</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Meets OSHA/workplace requirements</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Counts towards Continuing Education Credits</li></ul>Please note that the online theory session needs to be completed before&nbsp;the in person skills training and assessment. Without completion, the in-person skills session cannot be taken.&nbsp; Both the online theory session and in-person skills session need to be completed to be awarded the certification.

This 8 week performance class series is for kids and teens who want to perform in our annual Holiday show. We will have a primary focus on act creation and stage presence. Group circus acts require consistent attendance.
