Hearts Alive Village

LXCL:Hearts Alive Village is a nonprofit animal rescue organization dedicated to keeping pets in loving homes and helping them find new ones when needed. Since 2013, we have rescued more than 18,000 animals while providing vital community resources, including two low-cost veterinary clinics, a Pet Food Bank, Cat Café, Everyday Adoption Center, Veterinary Forensics Program, and much more.

Meet Major, a Boxer who came to Hearts Alive Village after&nbsp;suffering unimaginable neglect.&nbsp; When he arrived, he had lost the use of his back legs, but thanks to his incredible foster dad, Michael, his story is changing. Every day, Major works through chiropractic care, underwater treadmill therapy, swimming, acupuncture, and rehabilitation. And it&#39;s working! He&#39;s gaining strength, rebuilding muscle, and taking encouraging steps toward walking again. Now, we need your help to keep him moving forward. His therapies are expensive, but every donation goes directly toward the treatments giving Major a second chance at life.&nbsp; Whether you give $25, $50, or any amount, you&#39;ll be helping him take the next step on his journey. The Alexis Project&nbsp;is a spay/neuter program for&nbsp;pit bull-type dogs aimed at reducing shelter overpopulation and euthanasia. Treasure was found abandoned at a dumpster behind a veterinary office. It was discovered that he has a broken leg and previous broken jaw. He&#39;s thin and also had rocks in his stomach.
