Hearts For Sight Foundation empowers individuals who are blind or visually impaired through meaningful programs that foster community connection, movement, and nature. Their mission is to enhance lives and promote inclusivity for those facing visual challenges.

Hearts for Sight and Wayfinder Family Services are teaming up this year for a fishing trip to the waters near Catalina Island, and you&rsquo;re invited!&nbsp; Join us for a full day of fishing, ocean views, fun, and friendly competition &mdash; who will catch the biggest fish? You might hook a Yellowtail, White Seabass, Bonito, or Calico Bass!

🎉 IT&rsquo;S TIME TO GET MOVING! 🎉 Hearts For Sight Foundation&rsquo;s 10-week Move-A-Thon officially begins today, August 1st! 🌟 10 Miles &bull; 10 Weeks &bull; 10 Years of Wellness 📅 August 1&ndash;October 10, 2026 This year, Hearts For Sight proudly celebrates 10 years of promoting health, wellness, inclusion, and connection for people who are blind or visually impaired. We invite you to celebrate this milestone by moving with us and helping raise funds to support our programs! Here&rsquo;s how to join the fun:👣 Complete at least 10 miles over 10 weeks&mdash;at your own pace and in your own way.💙 Set a fundraising goal of $100 or more and invite your family, friends, and community to support you.🚶 Walk, hike, roll, or choose another activity that gets you moving. Every movement counts! There are many fun ways to earn your miles! You can join one of Hearts For Sight&rsquo;s group hikes or Nature Social walks, organize a team of friends or family members to move together, or participate in activities such as: 🥾 Hiking or walking&nbsp;🚴 Riding a bicycle or stationary bike&nbsp;🧑&zwj;🦽 Rolling in a wheelchair&nbsp;🏊 Swimming&nbsp;🏃 Jogging or running&nbsp;🚣 Rowing or paddling&nbsp;🏠 Walking on a treadmill or using an elliptical machine at home﻿Choose activities that work for your interests and abilities, and keep track of the distance you complete.
