Hep B Free aims to eliminate hepatitis B through education, screening, vaccination, and advocacy, focusing on the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities disproportionately affected by this disease and its related health inequities.

On Thursday, October 15, Hep B Free is back to celebrate its 19th year in the fight against hepatitis B and liver cancer. Join us in 3rd floor Grand Ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel for an amazing night of elegant food, drink, celebrations, awards, and memories! This year, we have made meaningful progress partnering with local health systems to better understand the successes and barriers surrounding hepatitis B screening, vaccination, and linkage to care, and to share those lessons broadly. We were also proud to host our inaugural Hep B Free California Summit, gathering 200 people to bring greater visibility and momentum to hepatitis B advocacy and public health efforts across the state. 2030 is quickly approaching, and frustratingly, we are still not on track to reach national goals on hepatitis B screening, vaccination, and treatment. Join us for a lively Happy Hour at the Gambit Lounge in Hayes Valley as we celebrate our expanded efforts to eliminate Hepatitis B both locally in the Bay Area and across the nation. Now more than ever, it is vital to stand up and champion critical public health initiatives. Come enjoy delicious drinks and small bites on us, connect with our community, and learn how you can make an impact. ✨ Special Guest SpeakerWe are deeply honored to welcome California State Treasurer Fiona Ma. As a leader living with chronic Hepatitis B, Treasurer Ma has been a trailblazing, longtime champion and advocate for our cause.
