Hero Dogs

Hero Dogs trains and places service dogs with U.S. military veterans and first responders with disabilities, enhancing their quality of life and independence through the companionship and support of a trained service dog.

🎉We are happy to report that Hero Dogs, Inc., a nonprofit organization that trains and places service dogs with veterans of the U.S. military and first-responders with disabilities, will be the sole beneficiary of proceeds from the 4th Annual Wine and Dine for Warriors event! &nbsp;This event, which has been organized by the Towson Elks Lodge #469 for the past three years, features live music from Weird Science, a scrumptious dinner buffet, huge silent auction, chance auction, raffles, and more! &nbsp;It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 Hero Dogs was one of the beneficiaries of the 2025 event, and the funds allowed two puppies to be trained for eventual assignment as service dogs for two veterans. &nbsp;As the sole beneficiary of the 2027 event, we hope to provide several more local heroes with service dogs. &nbsp; Please join us in improving the lives of our nation&#39;s heroes by purchasing tickets, becoming a sponsor, donating a silent auction item, or becoming an event volunteer. Together, let&#39;s make the 2027 event our best ever! &nbsp;
