Hero Haven is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served our country&mdash;military, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders&mdash;by providing them a Life-Giving Outdoor Adventure.&nbsp; From September 30th thru October 4th, 2027, Hero Haven will host a fall side by side adventure adventure in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota for members of our Police Departments, Fire Departments, EMS Departments, and Military community. This four-day experience is designed to give our nation&rsquo;s heroes a chance to step away from the stress of daily service and enjoy time outdoors with others who understand the demands of their profession. The adventure will feature three full days of exploring all of the beauty of the fall colors that the Black Hills has to offer. All lodging, meals, and side by side &nbsp;are included for the participants, allowing our heroes to simply arrive, relax, and enjoy the experience. We will be staying at the beautiful Heaven&#39;s Gate property located near Custer, SD. &nbsp;This property offers all kinds of amenities to enjoy after a fun day on the trails in the beautiful Black Hills. &nbsp; https://evolve.com/vacation-rentals/us/sd/custer/434079 Through adventures like this, Hero Haven continues its mission of supporting those who serve by providing opportunities to reconnect, recharge, and build lasting friendships in the outdoors. This four-day experience is designed to give our nation&rsquo;s heroes a chance to step away from the stress of daily service and enjoy time outdoors with others who understand the demands of their profession. The adventure will feature two full days of guided ice fishing on Lake of the Woods, one of the premier winter fisheries in the Midwest. All lodging, meals, and fishing are included for the participants, allowing our heroes to simply arrive, relax, and enjoy the experience. The event will host 10 heroes, creating a small, meaningful group where camaraderie, conversation, and time on the ice can truly make an impact. We will be staying at the beautiful Racks &amp; Rods Lodge in Williams MN. &nbsp;Fish houses will be provided by an outfitter and bathroom facilities are close by. &nbsp;If you don&#39;t have any fishing equipment, don&#39;t worry, we will get you set up and catching fish! Through adventures like this, Hero Haven continues its mission of supporting those who serve by providing opportunities to reconnect, recharge, and build lasting friendships in the outdoors.
