The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Black Community Relations Committee fosters unity and safety by bridging gaps between law enforcement and the community, hosting events, and providing resources to create lasting positive impact.

There are moments in life that test even the strongest among us. For Deputy Kenny Turner and his family, that moment has become their daily reality. Kenny and his wife are navigating the challenges of raising two incredible young boys who are facing significant medical conditions. Their 10-year-old son, Asher, has been diagnosed with Temporal Lobe ADHD, requiring specialized care, support, and ongoing treatment. Their 7-year-old son, Ezra, has been diagnosed with Benign Rolandic Epilepsy, a neurological condition that brings uncertainty, frequent medical appointments, and constant vigilance. Despite the emotional, physical, and financial challenges these diagnoses have brought, Deputy Turner has remained steadfast. He continues to serve our community with professionalism, compassion, and dedication in his role as a School Resource Deputy, where he works every day to protect and mentor the students entrusted to his care. Those who know Kenny know he is the first to step up when someone else is in need. Today, it’s our turn to stand beside him. This fundraiser has been established to help ease the financial burden associated with medical appointments, specialized treatments, therapies, travel expenses, and the many unforeseen costs that accompany caring for children with complex medical needs. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help provide some relief and allow the Turner family to focus on what matters most Asher and Ezra’s health and well-being. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping the Turner family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for supporting a deputy who has dedicated his career to serving others. Together, we can remind Kenny and his family that they are not facing this journey alone.
