Pottery in the Victorian Home Step into the world of Victorian craftsmanship as ceramic artist and pottery historian Tara Logue demonstrates the creation of various forms of traditional pottery while exploring the essential role pottery played in everyday life during the late 1800s. Throughout the Historic Nissen House, discover authentic Victorian-era pottery and learn how these beautiful yet practical pieces were used for cooking, serving, storage, and decorating the home.Watch a skilled artisan at work, explore a rural Victorian home, and uncover the stories behind the objects that filled it. There are 3 time slots to choose from: 11am, 12pm and 1pm About the Speaker Tara Logue is a pottery historian and ceramic artist from Kernersville, North Carolina.
