Dress Code Policy: To ensure a respectful, safe, and appropriate environment for all participants at events, workshops, and activities hosted by Southern Nevada Homeschool Association, the following dress code applies to all attendees, including children, parents, volunteers, and staff: Modesty &amp; Appropriateness &ndash; Clothing should be modest and suitable for a family-friendly environment. Clothing with offensive language, images, or slogans is not permitted. Coverage &ndash; Attire should cover undergarments and private areas adequately. Shorts, skirts, and dresses should be of a modest length. Footwear &ndash; Closed-toe shoes may be required for certain activities for safety reasons. Bare feet are not allowed except in designated areas. Activity-Appropriate Attire &ndash; Participants should dress appropriately for the event (e.g., athletic wear for sports activities, casual attire for classroom settings, and weather appropriate clothing for outdoor events). Prohibited Attire: Clothing that contains profanity, inappropriate graphics, or offensive messages. Sheer or excessively revealing clothing, including crop tops, short shorts, or low-cut tops. Pajamas or sleepwear (except for designated events). Costumes or accessories that may be disruptive unless permitted for a themed event. Enforcement: If a participant&rsquo;s attire is deemed inappropriate, event organizers or staff will address the concern privately. Individuals may be asked to adjust their clothing, cover up, or, in some cases, change into alternative attire. Repeated violations may result in exclusion from events or further disciplinary action. 7. Joyful Music Explorers 🎶&nbsp;Students 3-7 y/o Participants will engage in music-making and learning music concepts through singing, chanting, dance, movement, drama, and the playing of percussion instruments. This class is based on the Orff Schulwerk approach to music learning. 🍣 Roll Into Flavor! Sushi-Making Workshop Get ready for a hands-on culinary adventure where students become sushi chefs for the day! Waiver and Release of Liability By registering for this event, I, guardian of the participant(s), acknowledge and agree to the following: 1. Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that participation in any event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to risks of injury, illness, or other hazards. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in any event. 3. Emergency Medical Treatment: In the event of an emergency during any event, I authorize event organizers to seek medical treatment on my behalf or on behalf of the participant, if applicable. I agree to assume financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred. 5. Code of Conduct By attending any event hosted by Southern Nevada Homeschool Association, I agree to the following standards of behavior: 1. Respect and Courtesy: All participants are expected to treat fellow attendees, event staff, and volunteers with respect and courtesy. Discriminatory, disruptive, or harmful behavior will not be tolerated. 2. Adherence to Event Rules: Participants must follow all event-specific guidelines and instructions provided by event organizers, including those related to health and safety protocols. 3. Safety First: I will prioritize safety for myself, my children, and others by adhering to all safety rules, including those regarding equipment, behavior, and emergency procedures. 4. No Harassment or Intimidation: Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or offensive language will not be tolerated in any form. All participants are entitled to a safe and welcoming environment. 5. Participation Expectations: All participants, including children, are expected to engage appropriately in activities and be mindful of others. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children and ensuring they follow event guidelines. 6. Dress Code Policy: To ensure a respectful, safe, and appropriate environment for all participants at events, workshops, and activities hosted by Southern Nevada Homeschool Association, the following dress code applies to all attendees, including children, parents, volunteers, and staff: Modesty &amp; Appropriateness &ndash; Clothing should be modest and suitable for a family-friendly environment. Clothing with offensive language, images, or slogans is not permitted. Coverage &ndash; Attire should cover undergarments and private areas adequately. Shorts, skirts, and dresses should be of a modest length. Footwear &ndash; Closed-toe shoes may be required for certain activities for safety reasons. Bare feet are not allowed except in designated areas. Activity-Appropriate Attire &ndash; Participants should dress appropriately for the event (e.g., athletic wear for sports activities, casual attire for classroom settings, and weather appropriate clothing for outdoor events). Prohibited Attire: Clothing that contains profanity, inappropriate graphics, or offensive messages. Sheer or excessively revealing clothing, including crop tops, short shorts, or low-cut tops. Pajamas or sleepwear (except for designated events). Costumes or accessories that may be disruptive unless permitted for a themed event. Enforcement: If a participant&rsquo;s attire is deemed inappropriate, event organizers or staff will address the concern privately. Individuals may be asked to adjust their clothing, cover up, or, in some cases, change into alternative attire. Repeated violations may result in exclusion from events or further disciplinary action. 7. Consequences for Misconduct: Any participant who violates this Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the event, and in some cases, may be prohibited from attending future events hosted by Southern Nevada Homeschool Association.
