Each weekly session will feature STEM fun and experimentation, nature exploration, artistic expression, musical movement, field games at Emma Willard, and plenty of opportunities to make the most of all that summer has to offer. Join us for themed weekly sessions with adventure afield in places like Dyken Pond, Peebles Island, Emma Treadwell Thacher Center, The Wild Center, and more. And there's time each day for camp songs, arts and crafts -- even quiet reading -- in our beautifully renovated upper floor, designed for both active fun and relaxation.Hope 7's summer program is licensed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and supported in part by the Rensselaer County Department for Youth. We offer a safe, nurturing environment for children entering K-6th grades in the fall. Financial assistance with camp fees for families affected by recent reductions/eliminations in funding for child-care subsidies for working families has been made possible through generous donations from Seymour Fox Memorial Foundation, Troy Savings Bank Foundation and generous individual friends of Hope 7.
