Whether you are rocking ties, tutus, or tennis shoes, this is your afternoon to shine with friends and family.This is The House of D.O.L.L.S. Foundation&#39;s 5th annual fundraiser. Our 2026 event will fund up to 10 dorm room packages for local graduating seniors heading to college. For many of these students, this is the first time someone outside their family has invested in their future. Why this matters in Brunswick55.3% of children in Brunswick live below the federal poverty line.&nbsp;The median household income here is roughly $40,000, against a Georgia median above $74,000. And 80% of Black students in the University System of Georgia do not receive the HOPE Scholarship, the state&#39;s primary path to paying for college. A fully outfitted dorm room is not a luxury for these seniors. It is the difference between walking onto a college campus feeling like they belong there, and walking on wondering if they can stay. Foundation is raising money to send up to 10 local graduating seniors off to college fully equipped this year.⭐💜 In Brunswick, 55.3% of children live below the federal poverty line. The median household income here is roughly $40,000, against a Georgia median above $74,000. For families navigating those numbers, the cost of outfitting a dorm room can be the thing that decides whether their senior actually moves into one. ⭐Every dollar raised through this campaign goes to the Decorate-A-D.O.L.L.S. Dorm Scholarship. Recipients are graduating high school seniors, young men and women, who have shown leadership and academic commitment. Each one walks onto campus with bedding, storage, desk supplies, personal care items, and small appliances. Everything they need to start the school year prepared. 💜This is our 5th annual campaign, tied to the Talent in Ties, Tutus &amp; Tennis Shoes fundraiser on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at The Historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Brunswick. ⭐The House of D.O.L.L.S. Foundation, Inc. is a Georgia-certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible and donors receive a receipt.
