Welcome to our Cambodia Short-term Mission Trip support page!It’s hard to believe another year has already passed! Our team of 6, Amara, Wai-fan, Joey, Felica, Gary and Michael, are excited to share that we will be returning to Cambodia for another short-term mission trip. We will continue to serve alongside the local church and missionary team we connected with last year.Here’s a quick snapshot of Cambodia: of its 17+ million people, only about 5% are considered reached or partially reached with the Gospel. Buddhism remains the dominant religion, but we’ve seen encouraging growth in the number of evangelical Christians.Why We Are GoingWe hope to continue serving at The Crossroads Church of Cambodia on what will be our fourth visit. Watching this church grow year after year has stirred a deep desire us continue supporting them the best way we can—especially after witnessing students we met come to Christ.We also partner with a small but passionate group of Chinese missionaries serving in rural areas. We were truly inspired by their dedication. One highlight of this year’s trip will be to visit their kindergarten — a project generously supported by Houston Chinese Church and its members. that has now expanded to the Cambodia EnTo (Pathway of Grace) Education Center.Partner with UsPrayAs our team prepares, we hope you’ll open to joining our prayer team! Over the past few years, HCC has sent a short-term missions team to Cambodia and partnered with a local group of Chinese missionaries who are reaching out to Cambodian locals. They pooled their resources and purchased a piece of land in rural Cambodia to help to continue growing their ministry. On this land, they are in the process of building a kindergarten/education center for the local children.Work has recently been completed on the roof of the main building and covering for an outdoor gathering space. HCC's STM team to Cambodia plan to visit this center in September and hold events for the local children.How You Can HelpPrayPlease commit to praying for the education center and the children it will serve. Our Cambodia STM team will also be providing updates of our activities there this September.DonateWhile the main buildings of the school are nearing completion, there are still many tasks that must be done before the school is fully ready for students. These include setting up campus security system, building internet infrastructure, purchasing office equipment, preparing library supplies, etc. All these tasks cannot be completed without financial support.
