Hudson Valley SPCA is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need, promoting humane treatment, and advocating for animal welfare through education and community outreach. Their mission is to create a compassionate environment for all animals.

Reserve your space at the NEW WINDSOR Community Yard Sale hosted by the HVSPCA, and help provide much needed funding for the animals in our care! 🐾. Every registration supports Hudson Valley SPCA&#39;s animals! &nbsp;We&rsquo;ll confirm your spot and event details after your reservation is completed. It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 &nbsp;The Hudson Valley SPCA will be hosting &quot;The DeMystics&quot; on Friday, June 5 at the Montgomery Senior Center, located at 36 Bridge St. Montgomery NY. Your admission includes unlimited select non-alcoholic drinks and select snacks. We will have additional non-alcoholic drinks and concessions available to purchase before and during the show. No outside food or drinks permitted.&nbsp;Join us for an interactive, enlightening and entertaining evening with The DeMystics! They are a team of four gifted psychic mediums that include, Priscilla Keresey, Jennifer Jiles, Karen Breslin and Theresa Turetsky who are on a mission to make the supernatural... natural. With humor, heart and insight, they aim to demystify the afterlife, demonstrate mediumship in action, and educate audiences about connecting with spirit. Whether you are a believer, a skeptic, or just curious... this event promises to be both thought-provoking and FUN as these talented women bring messages from beyond and down to earth.&nbsp;Advanced ticketing is required, because there are ONLY 248 seats total for this event and we expect it to be sold out! Did you know....The Hudson Valley SPCA takes in roughly 300 cats per year on average? (not including any HLE/Humane Law rescues). If the cats are not sick, and totally healthy (which is rare). the vet checkup and spay/neuter, we can spend $150-200+ PER CAT on intake. 🐾 We do snap tests (for FIV/FELV), stool tests, vaccines, de-worming meds, flea/tick treatments and microchipping. I think you get the picture now?? Right? &nbsp;So, when people ask &quot;How come you charge a $150 adoption fee for a cat, isn&#39;t that a lot? I can easily say that $150 doesn&#39;t even cover half of it, and your cat leaves here completely vaccinated and ready to go for the next year!&nbsp; Don&#39;t believe it? Please, call a vet&#39;s office and ask them for an estimate on a new cat vet checkup appointment, rabies, distemper, snap test, stool test, micro chipping, deworming meds, flea/tick treatment and a spay/neuter. Include ear cleaning &amp; nails trimmed. I can guarantee you that amount will be close to $800 or more +/- (depending on where you live). &nbsp; If a cat comes in with an illness... we can, and have, spent upwards of $10,000 on their emergency care...because we are a NO-KILL shelter that believes in giving an animal a chance at great life! We are asking the public and our friends to help us offset our medical expenses by covering the spay &amp; neuter fees and any other medical costs we incur for the remaining part of this year for our felines. This will help our shelter out greatly by providing much needed medical funding for the incredible costs we incur to care for our cats (and animals in general). We don&#39;t want to increase our adoption fees... but can only do that with your help!
