ALL ATTENDEES MUST BRING A FORM OF ID THAT LISTS THEIR FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH TO PROM FOR CHECK-IN. EACH IGNITE STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO BRING ONE GUEST, 16 OR OLDER SAFETY POLICIES:1. No excessive PDA.2. This is a tobacco, vape, drug, and alcohol-free event. Substance use will result in being sent home.3. No outside food and drink permitted.4. A Night on the Bayou: Prom 2026

Join us for the First Annual Ignite Daddy-Daughter Dance!&nbsp; Dads and daughters of all ages are invited to enjoy a night of dancing and fun.

Join us for our Nort Valley Picnic at the Park&mdash;a relaxed afternoon of food, games, and conversation with fellow Ignite homeschool families. We will have some fun games and activities! Everyone is welcome&mdash;parents, students, and siblings. Please register so we can plan for space and activities. Remember to bring your lunch!&nbsp;

Join Mrs. Hudak and Mrs. Vandenboom at the Arizona state capitol on Friday, February 20th from 10:00- 12:00. &nbsp; 1700 W Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85007 What:&nbsp; See where state government happens! We will tour the House of Representatives and/or the Senate and we are supposed to meet up with a state legislator. We will end at the Capitol Museum. &nbsp; Children who are not of driving age must be accompanied and monitored by an adult. &nbsp;Families are encouraged to go together. There are no meetings or sessions taking place so we don&#39;t have to worry about disrupting anything, so children of all ages are welcome. Strollers are allowed. There is no dress code, but we believe in dressing neatly and respectfully at the Capitol and recommend wearing comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking.&nbsp; Cost:&nbsp; All free, including the museum. Security Note:&nbsp; On the House of Representatives side you will have to go through security and a metal detector like at the airport. Plan accordingly for bags to be looked through and there are no weapons of any kind allowed. Double-check any bags before going. &nbsp; Food and drinks are ok to go through security Parking:&nbsp; There is free parking at Wesley Bolin Plaza (recommended), as well as behind the governor&#39;s office building. &nbsp;There is also some free and metered parking on surrounding streets. Plan extra time to drive and park because there are many one-way streets in that area. Meet:&nbsp; Meet up at the flagpole that is in the courtyard between the House and the Senate just before 10:00 am. Look for Mrs Hudak or Mrs. Vandenboom.&nbsp; Extras:&nbsp; We will end with the Capitol Museum. &nbsp;There are self-guided tours available so you will go through the museum on your own. &nbsp;Spend as much or as little time with this as you like! Lunch:&nbsp; You may want to pack a lunch and eat on the Capitol grounds or at Wesley Bolin Plaza.&nbsp; We also recommend that you check out the historical monuments outside the Capitol and throughout Wesley Bolin Plaza while you are there.&nbsp; Bonus activity:&nbsp; Look up who your two state legislators and one state senator are before you go. Write them each a note or card thanking them for serving our state and let them know that you are praying for them. We can deliver these while we are there.

Many of you know Mrs. Angie Brumbaugh who works most mornings at our Glendale, Secondary Gate. &nbsp;Her daughter graduated from Ignite last year and she has continued to work with us and serve the students at Ignite this year. &nbsp;It is time for us to serve her. Angie&#39;s husband and Sarah&#39;s dad, John, was diagnosed with ALS last year. &nbsp;His disease is slow progressing, but at this time, he is using a motorized wheelchair. &nbsp;The problem is the Brumbaughs do not have an accessible vehicle to transport the wheelchair, and believe it would be unwise to take on an additional cost to acquire one. &nbsp; At this time John is still working and they would like to be able to enjoy time together outside of the house as much as possible. <a fr-original-style="" href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dWSEjxo6D7azsHwn1wyr4qCrNwBhD9c5/view?usp=share_link" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; -webkit-user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">See this video from John</a>.
