Join Circe & The Gang for an unforgettable live performance where movement, music, storytelling, and community come alive. 💃✨ Step into a world of transformation, imagination, and joyful connection as people living with Parkinson's, their friends, and care partners take the stage to share a performance that celebrates resilience, creativity, and the power of moving together. Early last year, our “gang,” the Dancing Through Parkinson’s performers, named Circe as our partner. We knew her at once; we felt her in our bones. Circe, drawn from ancient mythology, is a sorceress, magician, seductress, and, most importantly, a force for transformation. How do we live with change? How do we navigate loss, uncertainty, disease, discord, and even harmony? And how do we become something new without losing who we are? Through dynamic theater, movement, music, and poetry, Circe and the Gang illuminates these eternal and very human questions. Created with and by a community touched by Parkinson’s disease the performance explores adaptation as a way of life. On their journey, as familiar routines shift and unexpected challenges emerge, the “gang” encounters masked creatures, battles, humor, grief, love and resilience that accompany any journey. Circe reminds us: Nothing is permanent. Circe and the Gang is not a story about overcoming change. It is an invitation to live within it, to find new ways of moving, loving, grieving, laughing, and belonging, and to embrace the ongoing art of becoming. At this event, you'll:

Experience an original live performance filled with music, dance, and playful improvisation.

Meet the performers, teaching artists, and community members who bring this inspiring work to life.

Support Dancing Through Parkinson's and help expand access to joyful, inclusive dance experiences.

Every ticket helps sustain Invertigo Dance Theatre's mission to create accessible artistic opportunities for people living with Parkinson's, their care partners, older adults, and anyone seeking connection, creative expression, and the healing power of movement.

Join Invertigo Dance Theatre for the premiere of Movement Through Life, a unique interactive showcase that bridges high-caliber performance art with neuro-specialized community impact. Taking place at the A-Frame Theatre at the Wende Museum, this event brings Invertigo’s professional company dancers and dancers from its Dancing Through Parkinson’s program together on a single stage. Structured as a blend of a live performance and an interactive "TED Talk," Movement Through Life breaks down the barrier between audience and performer to demonstrate how movement sparks neuroplasticity, cognitive well-being, and artistic expression across all ages and mobility levels.
