Iowa Rural Development Council

The Iowa Rural Development Council fosters leadership and community growth by connecting and empowering leaders across Iowa. Through educational events and resources, they aim to enhance local development and strengthen rural and urban communities.

Oct. 27-28 | Central College | Pella, IA The Iowa Leadership Exchange is Iowa&#39;s premier gathering for leadership development, bringing together leaders from communities across the state to learn, connect, and grow. Hosted by the Iowa Rural Development Council, the Exchange is an educational event designed to bolster existing leadership programs, support a statewide network of leaders, and empower communities to grow local leaders. Attendees represent rural and urban communities alike and include professionals from community development, economic development, local government, nonprofits, education, healthcare, business, and leadership organizations. What to ExpectThis year&rsquo;s agenda is built around the leadership challenges and opportunities facing Iowa communities today. Leadership BootcampInterested in attending Leadership Bootcamp on the morning of October 27? Registration for the Exchange and the Leadership Bootcamp Grant application are separate processes.
