🌟 Join Us in Saving Our Community Jewel! 🌟 The IslandView Association and the Charlevoix Village Association have been leading the charge to protect our neighborhood, but now we need your help. Our beloved Fred Butzel Family Center, its park, and our vital neighborhood green space are under threat from a proposed housing project that would take over the center&#39;s parking lot. We firmly believe that this space deserves to remain entirely in the hands of the community it serves.Why We Need Your Help Today:We are taking this fight to the next level. We have an upcoming Wayne County Circuit Court appeal hearing, and the legal expenses associated with defending our neighborhood are mounting. Every dollar raised through this campaign will go directly toward these critical legal fees and defense expenses. Fred Butzel Family Center Parking Lot-Save our community Jewel: Donation Campaign

Your gift supports the Rivers and Addison families as they recover from the tornado&rsquo;s damage to their homes, belongings, and daily routines 🌪️. Every dollar goes toward immediate needs like safe housing, clothing, food, and basic supplies. As a neighborhood group committed to protecting and caring for our community spaces and families, IslandView Association is working closely with these households to direct funds where they are needed most. Please give what you can 💚. Note from the Family We are a family of 8 and we have lost our entire home due to the Tornado that occurred on 9/4/2026. We have no consistent place to live and have been living in different hotels everyday and night. Our children have lost their clothes and shoes and we are trying to be able to get by during this horrible tragedy.
