He loves his toys like they’re priceless works of art, goes on walks like he’s strutting the red carpet, and plays tug-of-war like he’s training for the Olympics. He’s also a professional cuddle connoisseur who has brought so much happiness (and laughter!) into his foster mom’s life. Picasso thinks car rides are the best thing ever… for about 10 minutes. Then he remembers he has very important opinions to share and barks them all the rest of the way. And yes—he’s also a very nosy little food critic who insists on “taste testing” everything just to be sure it’s up to his standards. Upon coming into the rescue, his foster noticed strange limb behavior such as knuckling and collapsing front limbs. We saw a neurologist that recommended crate rest to see if this would heal on its own since we did not know if this was due to an injury or spinal issue. The fosters kept him on crate rest for weeks and his limbs did not improve. Next step was PT, per the neurologist. This lasted over 3 months and there was no improvement.
